Dementia Care
Burgess Square considers everyone to be part of an extended family.
This family atmosphere extends to meeting the physical, emotional and
spiritual needs of our residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia by adhering
to the highest standard of care.
The staff is carefully chosen and trained to meet the special needs of these residents. Our environment is designed for safety and security. Great care is taken to provide the consistent routine that is critical for patient management. Residents have interaction throughout the day with one-on-one and group activities, including sensory and motor skill exercises, music therapy, and entertainment. Ongoing rehabilitation services and evaluation such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy are also available.
Caring is a critical aspect of all treatment goals. Burgess Square
relies on the involvement of family members and friend. They are encouraged
to visit and the staff is readily available for consultation and support.
